Visiting the Pig Farm is a small chapbook of 40 pages, a collection of outdoor story-poems and short stories written by Feigert during the 1980s. Highlights include “Chicken Fever,” which won an award at the Midwest Writers Conference in 1989, “Sneaking in at Critchlow’s Pond,” which was published in the fine national outdoors magazine Gray’s Sporting Journal in 1990, and “Catapult,” a simpler, shorter version of the story that later appeared in Buffalo Spree Magazine and is included in the articles section of this website.
